Immingham is one of the U.K.s major ports due to the deep water channels provided by the Humber Estuary. The south Humber bank area has attracted great investment over the last thirty years, much of this in the form of bridges, motorways, and road improvement. These improvements have made journeys to and from this area significantly easier than had previously been possible especially a new bypass. for Immingham that is sceduled to start construction in 2009/2010 The map below shows the golf course located to the rear of Immingham.
